The Role
Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit a Learning and Development (L&D) Advisor to work with the L&D Manager, L&D Assistant and HR Manager to identify, design, deliver and evaluate professional "best in class" Learning and Development solutions to meet the needs of the business. This role will involve occasional travel to regional sites and the main duties will include:
* Analysing, designing and delivering training material to support all learning interventions including induction, behavioural and project training needs
* Delivering a monthly Corporate Induction for new starters and ensuring course content is developed and reviewed, based on employee feedback
* Assisting the L&D Manager to take the lead on project driven training to ensure key deliverables are acheived
* Researching organisations and bodies that award grants or provide funding towards training and development and building relationships with external learning providers
* Contributing to the management of the training budget to ensure all solutions offer value for money and assisting the L&D Manager in implementing blended learning solutions across all channels
* Advising and supporting the L&D Manager and HR Manager as required
* Ensuring training requirements from PDP appraisals are collated, analysed and appropriate training solutions are identified and actioned
* Providing coaching and feedback to ensure support and guidance is provided when a need is identified within the business
* Support the development and oversee the L&D Assistant
* Assisting in the ongoing development of the company's LMS and other training software

The Candidate
A proven L&D background in training needs analysis, design and delivery is essential. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for Learning and Development who is part qualified CIPD or similar training qualification. The successful L&D Advisor will have excellent written & verbal communication skills and must demonstrate presentation and project management skills. Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) is needed. As this position will involve occasional travel to regional offices, a full UK Driving Licence is needed.
