Job Description

The Role: Senior Network Engineer (Juniper)
Location: Oxford / Reading
Rate - £425 - 450 a day.
Duration: 6 months +

Overview:
We are looking to recruit a Juniper bias network engineer from either an enterprise, telecoms or ISP background to join this rapidly expanding technology company.

This environment is going to be different to most of the other companies out there - the technology is cutting edge, but the culture and chance to influence in our opinion, is something that makes this quite a unique technical department.

If you are looking for a structured, large team environment that is heavily process driven then this probably isn't for you.

However, if you want to join a tight knit, expanding network group in one of the countries fastest growing service providers and actually have a chance to influence the technical solution, within a project based network delivery environment then read on.

You`ll be responsible for supporting the running, design, re-design and planned expansion of the company network and will get end to end life cycle experience. This isn't a management role, but the junior engineers will look to you as their point of technical reference and escalation so we are hoping you are the kind of person that remembers what it was like to be a more junior network engineer, and take some time to help them get to where they need to be.

So - who are you?

This is a Juniper bias job, and we would expect you would be JNCIE or JNCIP qualified and ideally focused on either the SP or ENT track. You'll be able to point to in depth configuration knowledge of Layer 3 traffic engineering, BGP and MPLS.

In addition, it`s assumed you`ll have experience of working around data centres and will have the drive and determination to work in a fast moving, project based, expanding technology environment. Above and beyond the assumed technical background, your personality will make the difference and this is a job for someone that enjoys a fluid, project based environment where ideas are shared and some of the work in the pipeline will hopefully result in the fastest network of any ISP in the country.

if this sounds like something you are interested in, and you want to move away from the big company, big team culture and join one of the fastest growing environments around, then get in touch as we would love to set up a chat.
