Role: Engineering / Operations Performance Partner
Location: Basingstoke
Package: £45-60,000 & Car Allowance, Pension, Bonus, Health

Role Purpose
Accountable for partnering with business stakeholders across the operations groups in this telecoms company to understand and determine the measurement systems in place to manage the KPI`s that support business strategy.

Aim is to ensure and implement uniform measurement metrics across the UK and Global company to ensure like for like standards are implemented in the engineering field operations groups.

You`ll manage a portfolio of activities and although this is not a hands on data analysis role, an overview or history of working with SAS, Business Objects, Oracle, SSRS, SQL etc. would be beneficial.

The goal is to drive through progressive improvements through technical solutions.

Key Accountabilities

*Supports leaders and managers in identifying and facilitating the delivery of organisational insight.
*Helps to drive improvements in business performance through effective delivery of key insight activity.
*Ensures a proactive and excellent customer-focused insight service is provided to the business and that each Insight experience is consistent and high quality.
*Seeks opportunities to review organisational insight, in-line with agreed principles that support business objectives.
*Leads analysis of MI to determine areas requiring action and recommends proactive solutions.
*Plans and designs insight projects, advising on the most appropriate methodology to deliver objectives effectively and within timescales and budget, maintaining the work plan for the area.
*Develops and manages both regular production reporting processes and ad-hoc analysis projects as required by the business, taking the lead in larger projects.
*Drives through progressive improvements in the approach used and solutions delivered from the area .
*Takes a leading role in communicating the insights to relevant audiences, proactively alerting the business to trends.

Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills

*An expert in an analysis, research or modelling disciplines.
*Experience with a broad range of analysis, modelling and research technical and tools.
*Excellent stakeholder management skills at senior levels.
*Strong commercial acumen.
*Understanding of the structure of a field operations environment
