The Opportunity:

Business Improvement Analyst (CI, Lean) required for a multinational blue-chip organisation to be based in Birmingham. The Business Improvement Analyst (CI, Lean) is to look after a range of different aspects of process from the internal databases through to the engineers out in the field (from the order placed to the invoice) and is to come in to an expanding team. This is to be in the telecoms sector, but any business improvement within any sector would be welcome.

The Role:

The Business Improvement Analyst (CI, Lean) is to work within a large range of different aspects of a process. Essentially we want someone who can come in an analyse problems, propose a better solutions and deliver these through internal systems or 3rd party.

*Facilitate the development of new ways of working
* Lead the implementation of new systems and processes; coaching and developing where appropriate
* Delivering activities to outcomes - i.e. managing results not activity
* Providing knowledge & experience as input to developing solutions
* Communicating projects to the wider business
* Ensuring full commitment to the project through effective stakeholder management

The Person:

The Business Improvement Analyst (CI, Lean) role is for a proven professional, ideally with experience of improving the processes of field based engineers and internal systems and such. Any method would be welcomed down the CI or Lean route.

*Knowledge of systems and process development
* Toolsets for requirement capture and process mapping
* Able to challenge existing practice and offer alternative approaches
* Understanding of various working methods, communication tools, workflow, routing and scheduling systems desirable
* Six sigma and Lean methodology desirable
* Knowledge of contact centre operation, local authority streetworks /permit rules desirable
* Experience and understanding of the following:
-MS Office
- Visio / Triaster
- E-Business methods
- UML use case development
