The Opportunity:

We are looking for a number of skilled business transition managers to work for a national telecommunications company.

You`ll be tasked with leading highly complex business transition processes, moving customers from legacy technology into the companies award winning managed solution portfolio.

These roles are challenging and varied, and you`ll display aspects of pre-sales, service delivery, project management and technical engineering.

The positions will suit a manager that comes from a technical background, with Cisco data networks (CCNA knowledge a minimum) and large scale LAN/ WAN solutions at carrier level being assumed. ITIL service management background would be classed as an advantage.

You`ll act as technical design authority within that specific project and will be leading virtual resource across the network, access, commercial and planning departments Nationwide. You`ll also engage 3rd party technical vendors and manage the client, who typically would be enterprise level or public sector customers.

We have flexibility on location and can base the right calibre of manager anywhere in the UK as you`ll operate from one of the network of offices, with flexibility being assumed to attend National meetings when required.

Your Background:

Highly customer facing, with a fundamental understanding of carrier level network solutions, you`ll be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of data networks and converged communications prior to making your move into a leadership position.

These roles will act as interface between solutions architects, the commercial department and 3rd party vendors and you`ll be able to drive and negotiate all of the key stakeholders and partners to ensure the successful migration of services whilst maintaining a first class customer experience.
