Paying £23k to £27k
Based in Birmingham covering the midlands
Working Tuesday to Saturday

The Role
The Installation Team Manager- Telecoms will look after the day to day management of a team of technicians, ensuring the importance of being customer focused, compliance to Health, Safety and Quality procedures, development of direct reports, co-ordination and performance management of individual technicians to a set of achievable targets. Important to drive and exceed all expectations laid out by client a in the installation and repair of Customer products, (Modem, DTV, ATV and Telephony) and basic Network elements as required, in accordance with the Company SOP and all other technical requirements. Communication and team building skills is essential in the delivery of an outstanding service for our clients. Professional relationships to be developed and nurtured both internally and externally with the focus of being best in class

The Installation Team Manager- Telecoms will be expected to;

*Operate in a manner that ensures as a team achieves targets within the parameters of the agreed service level agreements and KPIs.
*Manage customer relationships and deal with any escalated complaints in a timely manner.
*Ensure that all work is completed in line with company SOP and other technical documents.
*Ensure full compliance with NRSWA Regulations.
*Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety Regulations
*Carry out monthly/bi monthly one to ones with Technicians highlighting performance levels along with the ability to offer support and direction to meet and exceed targets.
*Escalate faults/complaints that cannot be resolved to Site Manager.
*Ensure that all necessary Compliance documentation is adhered to; e.g. HR, Safety, Quality, Vehicle audits etc,
*Deputise for Site Manager when necessary
*Carry out any other duties or tasks deemed necessary by your Site Manager.
*Ensure excellent working relations are established and maintained with key interfacing areas, such as FSOC and other support functions.
*Appreciation of costs and values attributed towards your technicians
*Dealing with disciplinary and grievance in a professional manner

The Candidate
The ideal Installation Team Manager- Telecoms;

*Must have knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and NRSWA requirements.
*Must have at least intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word and Excel
*Proven ability to build good relationships and meet client expectations
*Ability to manage conflict
*Able to drive / has a valid UK driving license. ï‚¡
*Ability to develop/support technicians
*Electronic/electrical engineering/management qualifications.
*Knowledge of HFC and Telephony principles.
*A can do attitude
*Ability to manage, motivate and grow a team
*Ability to communicate at all levels
*Previous experience of managing people
*To be able to demonstrate a professional approach

The Company
The Installation Team Manager will work for one of the largest telecoms companies in the UK.

The Package
The Installation Team Manager can expect to receive a £23k to £27k salary, working Tuesday to Saturday 5 day week, company car, excellent pension, passport allowance £720 that can be taken as cash, or put towards dental, health or holidays etc. 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
