Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £50k - £60k (dependent upon experience)

The Opportunity
Are you a Cloud Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work for one of the world's most respected energy management companies?

We have the role for you!

The Role
As our new Cloud Engineer you'll design and maintain top of the range supply chain and logistics management programs for some of the world's largest process industries. The tools you give them will allow our clients to maximise performance no matter from an oil rig in the middle of the North Sea to a mine in the Australian outback.

Working as part of a multi-disciplined scrum team you'll become a master in your field, consistently having the most up-to-date information about application hosting solutions at your fingertips. You'll design and implement workflows and ensure the delivery of software packages.

Product performance is key in our industry and so as one of our Cloud Engineers you'll also be responsible for developing tools to monitor system stability and improve resilience. Despite your best efforts sometimes we will have hiccups so on the spot troubleshooting will also be part of your role.

The Candidate
If you're a Cloud Engineer looking for a new and challenging role we'd like to hear from you.

To ensure you can hit the ground running you will need to have experience with Active Directory and Windows System Administration and we also assume you'll have experience with a scripting or automation language like PowerShell.

As you'll be working in a team environment you will need great communication skills and experience as working as part of an Agile team would be seen as a big advantage.

The Company
We are one of the world's largest energy management companies and believe in providing accessible, reliable and sustainable power for everyone. As an employer we want you to be proud that you work for us and, in return, we'll give you something to be proud of including structured career progression and training opportunities.

Working from our Cambridge office you'll join our logistics management program team, a separate arm producing a specific product range different to anything else we make. We're a big company with a small company feel so you'll get to know us all pretty well, we think that's a good thing!

Can't wait to have you join our team! Click "apply" now!
