The Role
As a Service Delivery Manager working for a leading Telecommunications company you will be involved in service delivery, service management and acting as an escalation point for clients when required. You will be responsible for the service team including networking, assurance and project delivery including the development and effective evolution of this team. This role includes managing people therefore you must have previous experience in this area. You will have a strong understanding of service delivery in a Telecoms/Networks services environment and will be involved in the following duties:
*Service delivery; managing a service team including networking, assurance and project delivery.
*Acting as a point of escalation for the service team.
*Developing effective communications both internally and externally.
*Involved in project management and evaluating clients projects.
*Managing expectations.
*Ensuring that effective communication is maintained with clients at all times.
The Requirements
As a Service Delivery Manager you will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role and will have a good understanding of service delivery in a telecoms/networks environment. You will have a track record in successful work within service/engineering and any technical experience is highly advantageous. You will have previously managed a team of at least 10 and will have good problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be a strong communicator, ambitious, driven and motivated.
