Commercial Manager
Long term rolling contract
Paying £300 per day
Based in Chertsey

The Role
To ensure the Commercial viability of Projects, maintain standards and operational excellence of Quantity Surveyors. To liaise closely with the Financial Director to ensure the financial targets of the company are met.
Provide commercial support to all Projects where necessary. To support the commercial needs of the company in Business Development field, preparing the Bids and acting as Bid Manager in all Bids. To check & challenge new Scopes of Work / Schedules of rates proposed by both existing and prospective new Clients.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

*To provide line management duties to all Quantity Surveyors
*Responsible for the development of all Quantity Surveyors
*Provide support for tendering nationally both to Client & from sub-contractors
*Provide support for Final Accounts nationally both to Client & from sub-contractors
*Produce and implement Commercial procedures within the company
*Monitoring of Quantity Surveyors productivity
*Liaison with core suppliers
*Production of National Agreements with key suppliers
*Ensure the QA processes are followed and update to ensure process in practical
*Monitoring of Celltracker and its functionality within the Quantity Surveyors fields
*Monitoring and maintenance of Approved Supplier/Subcontractor list
*Support of Projects in commercial areas
*Support of Quantity Surveyors in commercial duties
*Commercial Risk Analysis on new Contracts
*Ensure cash recovery targets are met
*Ensure EBIT targets are met
*Adjudication and Contract resolution
*Meet with clients to pursue Business Development opportunities
*Support Business RRelationship Direcor in new proposals
*Forecasting of turnover, profit and loss and cash recovery
*Carry out any other duties as requested by your manager.

Viability of all new Projects prior to their commencement
Cash recovery with PMs
Monitoring of Final Account margins
Monitoring of Tender margins

The Candidate
The ideal Commercial Manager will have;

*Experience in a Commercial role
*Commercial awareness
*Line management experience
*Understanding of Telecoms Professional Services
*Member of Professional Body
*Full clean driving licence.
*Suitably trained to execute duties

The Commercial Manager will work for a leading wireless telecommunications infrastructure service provider.

The Package
Long term rolling contract paying £300 per day.
