You`ll have a background or knowledge of the install of customer premises equipment consisting of PABX /switch & routers/LAN/WAN and Troubleshooting. The role would suit an engineer looking to work indoors or someone who is a, dedicated telecoms engineer looking to provide technical support.

Lead Technical Support Engineer (Telecoms)
Package:
£25 - 30K, plus benefits
The Role:

A well respected technology company based in Chester with customers throughout the UK, now has an immediate requirement for a lead technical support engineer to join their internal support team of 7. You`ll have a background or knowledge of the install of customer premises equipment consisting of PABX /switch & routers/LAN/WAN and Troubleshooting.

The role would suit an engineer looking to work indoors or someone who is a, dedicated telecoms engineer looking to provide technical support.

If you are an engineer from an in-house background or looking to be the lead member of an experienced support team to providing technical support to clients and engineers with knowledge of CPE equipment such as Avaya, Mitel, Panasonic, Polycom, Samsung, NEC or LG then we would be interested in hearing from you.

Training will be provided on the specific voice platform technology so the role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced installer to add additional skills.

The role will involve looking after clients for the company based UK wide but you`ll be a static engineer based in the Chester office.

Essential Requirements:
The ideal engineer will have the following experience:
*Installation or Support knowledge relating to of business telephony / CPE systems
*Troubleshooting and support of Switches and Routers (Cisco/Netgear)
*Familiarity with survey/project planning concepts
*Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
*WAN/LAN network experience (highly advantageous)
