2nd Line NOC Engineer

The Opportunity

You'll be working as 2nd Line NOC Engineer alongside the Head of Network Operations who started in the business 3 years ago as a Support Engineer. He's just one of the many examples of employees that have progressed through the business as this is something the company support as much as they can.

The Role
The company mainly work with Juniper so any experience with this is beneficial however they'll provide training.

As a 2nd Line NOC Engineer you will be involved in:
*Monitoring and troubleshooting network faults
*Acting as an escalation point for higher level support for 1st line engineers
*Managing cases such as changes, faults or requests
*Assign any faults to carriers and suppliers, following these up to ensure they're acted on as soon as possible
*Providing network services and support to partners

The Candidate
You'll have a background in Telecommunications working with WAN technologies. You will ideally have experience with Juniper however if you have a Telecoms background in Cisco and hold a CCNA you'll be given training. Any certifications in Juniper such as JNCIA, JNCIS are beneficial. You will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience in OSPF, MPLS and BGP is desirable.
