The Role
As a Head of Service Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless provision of voice and data technology on a 24x7 basis for a leading IT, Communications and Technology company in London. Through your technical teams, you will be operating business platforms including cloud, voice, collaboration and network connectivity and will be responsible directly for the leadership of 3 technical managers in the voice and data operational support function. You will be paramount to helping the business grow and your key focus will be to implement process that allows continued scalability and evolution of the technical portfolio whilst also ensuring excellent levels of customer service are being achieved.

You will be a hands-on people manager from a strong voice and data technical background, reporting directly into the COO and will be involved in the following duties:

*Planning and delivering strategies for the operation of the platforms, this includes short - long term.
*Multi-site management & Management of geographic expansion of the service assurance function, both in the UK and overseas.
*Functional change as a result of rapid customer growth and new product introduction.
*Change management and vendor management for all platform operations capabilities.
*Ultimately responsible for the 1st line service desk and 2nd line fault resolution teams (By leading the support manager)
*Managing any major incidents and problems.
*OPEX and CAPEX budget management of the service assurance function.
*Managing the Data Centres.
*Managing any major incidents and problems.
*Planning and managing capacity.
*Ensuring processes are continually being improved.

The Requirements
As a Head of Service Assurance you will have previous experience in a similar role and will have managed technical teams across multiple sites on a 24x7 support basis. You will have strong working knowledge in data connectivity, network services, cloud, hosted voice and collaboration from an ISP/Telco/MSP or SaaS company. You will have previously owned an end-to-end service operations and platform including processes and strategy. This role is paramount to the technical growth of the company therefore offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Service Assurance to be part of this.
