IT Technical Coordinator
£40,000 - £42,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits including pension, 20 days holiday + bank holidays and BUPA healthcare

The Role
As an IT Technical Coordinator working for a leading IT managed services company you will be responsible for providing IT support for trading and non-trading staff moves and liaise with on-site teams operationally. Please note IT moves are implemented at the weekends therefore it is essential you have the flexibility to work paid overtime most weekends. You will be working at client sites in London providing contracted and value-added service delivery and will be responsible for the following duties:

*Provide technical support and diagnostics to all staff within client sites aiming to resolve calls within the agreed SLAs.
*Monitor and pro-actively manage moves and related tasks. Use Remedy to manage calls and workflow, and ensure that updates are documented accurately and within SLAs.
*Complete reporting activities, update worklogs and invoke escalation processes where needed for effective incident management.
*Act as an effective and helpful point of escalation. Establish a sound working relationship with the client-base. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
*Manage moves team at weekends of between 5 and 10 staff
*Carry out site surveys and document moves schedule for all interfacing services within the moves process.
*Engage desktop, voice, data and dealing support teams for moves process.
*Co-ordination of Planned Scheduled work (Power Outages/Network Outages)
*Manage engineers in the post checks following Network Outage of workstations to ensure pre agreed connectivity tests
*Providing the Client set up of IT Equipment (PC's, Laptops, Voice, Printers) for scheduled requests

The Requirements
As an IT Technical Coordinator you will have experience in a similar role ideally within the financial industry and will be able to work in a high pressured environment. You will be a strong communicator with excellent time management skills and the ability to work well in a team and also independently. Experience in service call management such as Remedy and IT best practice such as ITIL is highly advantageous as well as an understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP.
