We are looking to recruit a Project Administrator to work in the project / service delivery function of this fast growing Telecommunications company in Central London. You'll be providing all round support to the service delivery function, supporting engineers and project managers with the implementation of new customers onto their network.
This position offers real prospects of growth, and it's assumed you'll have a keen interest in technology, logistics or project support and you'll be looking to build on your career in either project or service delivery within the technology sector.
Any exposure to computer hardware would be classed as a real advantage, and you should be physically fit as carrying equipment (Servers, switches, routers) and helping the team to prepare for installs will be part of the role.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Administrator you will be provide all round support to the service & project delivery function - this could involve:
*Administration support, ordering equipment etc
*Arranging and allocating engineering visits and resource
*Unpacking and doing some basic hardware builds
*Chasing orders with suppliers such as BT, Talk Talk, Virgin Media
*Updating customers and telecoms carriers and attending regular customer update conference calls to provide project progress reports
Essential skills:
*Experience within a project, service delivery or customer support environment
*Attention to detail, we need someone that can distinguish different orders
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be dealing with landlords, customers and suppliers
*Good at problem solving, someone that can find a solution to an issue and add value
*Flexible attitude and understanding of the requirements associated with delivering external customer projects
Desirable skills:
*Project Co Ordination, Telecoms Administration or Service Delivery Experience, ideally within a customer install environment
This role is based Central London and you should have a flexible approach to work as this position may involve occasional work on customer sites.
