The Role

Working as Project Manager within the Service Delivery function, you will be responsible for playing a key part in the successful delivery of cloud based voice and data managed solutions into the UK based corporate
sector.

You'll be working on new customer implementation projects alongside existing customer moves / changes and migrations and as such will be ideally have previous experience in the implementation of complex IP voice and network or IT projects. The company works with a number of technology platforms including Xaas, cloud, network connectivity, voice and collaboration therefore this role will suit a Project Manager from a similar background such as an ISP/Telco/MSP however candidates from an IT background will also be considered for this role. Any exposure to business centres and an understanding of carriers and managing these would be highly advantageous.

This role may also suit a Project Coordinator that's looking to progress into a Project Manager role.

The majority of the work will be around London however you`ll be expected to work on National projects alongside the rest of the team.

Key responsibilities include:

*Owning assigned Projects from start to finish and ensuring clear and precise customer and stakeholder communication is provided throughout the project.
*Ensuring all Projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with great customer experience.
*Developing and maintaining a detailed project action tracker and risk schedule.
*Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
*Monitoring project progress and performance.
*Ability to manage uncertainty and understand the impact of this on the project; proactive and forward-looking.
*Interact with technical engineers inside the business and non-technical customers outside of the company.
*Managing the onsite installation and 3rd party contractors including final sign off of network and voice testing ready for handover to the client.

Skills and Experience required:
*An understanding of telecoms IP voice and data or IT solutions.
*An understanding of the project life cycle linked to delivering carrier based technical solutions and exposure to lines, circuits, hardware, enterprise and channel resellers is highly advantageous.
*Formal methodology background combined with a think on your feet attitude. While methodology and process is important, this is not a rigid environment so would be expected to demonstrate a flexible approach to suit the particular project and customer requirements.
*Knowledge and demonstrable experience of project planning processes, techniques, methodologies, risk and commercial savvy.
*The ability to push back when needed whilst keeping the customer happy.
*Understanding of business drivers and complex organisational designs.
*Knowledge of telecoms business planning and provisioning process.
