The Role
Working for a leading IT, Communications and Technology company, you will be responsible for providing admin support within the Service Delivery team. This will be a varied role and will suit someone with an interest in IT service and technology and "how things work" that is willing to get hands on with some of the tasks. Any experience in a similar service delivery, project coordination or technical administration role is highly advantageous as is an educational background in IT/Telecoms/Networking. Going forward there may be scope to learn more about the technology and how to configure equipment.

This role is working in a team that are responsible for management and implementation of a range of IT and Telecom projects for new and existing customers. The role isn't desk bound and will involve preparing equipment for the Engineering team and repacking to send to site. There may be a need to go onto customer site when required to assist/manage smaller projects installations. This Service Delivery Coordinator will be involved in the following duties:

*Working with the Project Managers that are responsible for multiple projects
*Raising Purchase Orders for project hardware and circuits
*Placing and chasing orders with carriers to fulfill customer orders
*Placing and chasing hardware orders with multiple vendors
*Checking deliveries
*Preparing hardware in build room for engineering configuration
*Updating assets lists when hardware is received
*Preparing site folders, on site equipment and task sheets
*Produce daily call reports
*Assist with manual service provisioning tasks
*Booking carrier surveys with customers
*Boxing and shipping equipment to customer site prior to installation

The Requirements
As a Service Delivery Coordinator you will have at least 2 years experience in a commercial role ideally working in IT/Telecoms and will have the ability to learn and respond to new ideas, have a continual desire to do things better and make suggestions to improve process. You will have good attention to detail, be process driven and possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will have experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. You will be a self-motivated team player with the ability to priorities and manage your own tasks in line with the business objectives.
