Technical Support Engineer (SIP, VoIP, Cloud)
West Sussex
£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits including pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare, stock options and more

The Role
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with experience hosted IP telephony and/or SIP to join a leading Telecommunications company. The company have experienced significant growth and are offering the suitable candidate the opportunity to work in this fast paced and rapidly growing industry and progress through the business.

The ideal candidate will have technical support experience in SIP based IP cloud telephony systems from an ISP/Telco background however candidates that have some exposure to supporting telephony systems (PBX or IP PBX based) will be considered therefore please still apply. This is a desk based support role and you will be involved in the following duties:

*Working on the helpdesk providing up to 3rd level technical support to partners
*Dealing with tickets and developing solution guides
*Developing system documentation
*Working with a number of internal teams including Sales and Engineering

As a Technical Support Engineer it is essential you have the following:
*SIP and/or Hosted cloud experience
*Remote diagnostic experience
*Working knowledge of IP Networking, DSL and WAN
*Ideally Telecoms industry experience
*Interest/experience in Cloud based telephony accompanied by a flexible attitude to self-motivated learning
*Experience of supporting any of the following is highly beneficial; Asterisk, Avaya, Mitel, NEC, Swyx or similar IP Telephony Systems
