Technical Support Engineer (VoIP, PBX, IP Networking)
Crawley, West Sussex
£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits including pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare, stock options and more

The Role
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer ideally with 2nd or 3rd level experience in VoIP, SIP and IP Networking to join a leading global Telecommunications company. The company have experienced significant growth and are offering the suitable candidate the opportunity to work in this fast paced and rapidly growing industry and progress through the business. This isn't a typical helpdesk role as it involves the company's full cloud product solution. Previous experience in a 2nd/3rd level role is highly beneficial however candidates that have some exposure to supporting telephony systems such as Avaya, Mitel, Swyx and are looking for a step up will be considered therefore please still apply. This is a desk based support role and you will be involved in the following duties:

*Working on the helpdesk providing up to 3rd level technical support to Partners in the UK/EU
*Troubleshooting voice; PBX, IP PBX experience, SIP knowledge
*Working with soft switches
*Developing system documentation for Partners
*Deploying and supporting the company's solutions
*Working closely with other teams internally and also externally with SIP carrier providers and vendors

As a Technical Support Engineer it is essential you have the following:
*SIP experience
*PBX/IP PBX experience
*Strong IP Networking and DSL/WAN knowledge
*Demonstrable troubleshooting skills
*Soft switch experience
*Experience in Windows, Unix or Linux
*Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

You will have experience in a similar role working with SIP, VoIP and IP Networking however candidates that have had exposure in these areas and are looking for a step up will also be considered as there are multiple roles. Any qualifications or degree related to the role is highly beneficial although not essential.
