Role: PHP Developer (ASP.NET)

Package: £28k - £35k Dependant on experience.

Opportunity:
We have a great opportunity for a PHP Developer with knowledge of ASP.NET, to join the team of a market leading SME, who design and manufacture accessories for the pet industry. Responsible for the implementation, modification and maintenance of websites and web applications / user interfaces. Looking for somebody who is motivated and organised who can work well both independently and as part of a team.

Working closely with the company's small team of designers, the PHP Developer will work to turn static Photoshop designs into working browser based web pages. Alongside evolving the customer facing websites, you will regularly implement updates onto the PHP and database driven back-end system. The successful Developer will be working with the companies CMS and designers to integrate designs seamlessly into the systems.

The Role
Working directly with the companies Director, the PHP Developers main day to day responsibilities will include;
* Identifying and resolving code problems.
* Implementation of designers PSD into web pages.
* Updating the e-commerce website for sales and seasonal changes.
* Updating functional elements of the website and backend CMS system.
* Identifying technical requirements and implementing change within deadlines.
* Creating and managing data backups for recover situations.

* JQuery / JavaScript
* HTML / CSS

The Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and skilled PHP Developer who can not only display the technical skills we are looking for but who also has strong communication skills. Somebody with experience who holds the relevant degree or equivalent qualifications.

Standard Working Hours:
Mon-Fri
8:30m-5pm
