As a customer engineer, you`ll be working over a 4 day from 6 working week (So 3 days off per week!) on a rota that is mapped out in advance, and the roles involve both technical installation and service engineering duties for one of the country's leading communication companies.

The Role: Customer Service Engineer
Location: Guildford (Surrey)
Package: £22,000- £28,000 plus vehicle, pension, private health, 25 days holiday, bonus etc.

What do we need:
Our customers expect a first class customer experience and as such, we are looking to recruit a number of customer service engineers to make that initial knock on the door the best experience possible. As a customer engineer, you`ll be working over a 4 day from 6 working week (So 3 days off per week!) on a rota that is mapped out in advance, and the roles involve both technical installation and service engineering duties for one of the country's leading communication companies.

The roles are a mixture of service calls and installation of services including internet, telephony and TV and you`ll be working on a permanent basis directly for the company, not through a sub-contractor.

Who are you?

Who you are as a customer facing engineer is more important than the exact technology you`ve worked with before but to be a success, you'll need a technical foundation and interest in technology - that might be telecoms, IT or perhaps electrical or an electronics based position within a customer-facing role.

Ideally, you'll be comfortable with the use of hand and power tools, be competent using test equipment, logical when it comes to diagnostics, and very familiar with the use of technology like smartphones, tablets and PC's, as well as knowing how to use common windows-based programs.

If you are a problem solver that enjoys working with customers on a face to face basis and using / learning cutting edge technology then we are happy to hear from you.

We`ll give you the training you need to be the best on our product portfolio so if you have great communications skills, a proactive and flexible approach and a full driving licence (With 8 points or less), you could be one of the engineers we need.
