The Role
Desktop IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical services and technology support to both internal and external clients. The role covers the physical delivery and ongoing support to clients on products, applications, network systems and overall solutions.

Responsibilities
When not in the Bunker playing pool or X box, The Desktop IT Support Engineer will be responsible for:

*Responding to calls and tickets from clients, clearly identify issues, troubleshooting through to resolution
*Working as part of a team of 1st and 2nd line engineers ensuring high service availability
*Manage own ticket queue and monitor incidents to resolution
*Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively
*Provide 1st line support on an overflow basis
*Provide technical advice and recommendations for tickets assigned to 1st line colleagues, transferring knowledge to junior colleagues

The Candidate
The ideal Desktop IT Support Engineer will have;

Technical background
*Experience working on an ITIL based Service Desk
*Experience of VOIP technology
*Experience with Office 365
*Experience with Citrix Xendesktop and VMWare Workstation
*Software and Hardware Troubleshooting skills
*Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Apple OS experience
*Working knowledge and administration of AD, Exchange,
*Strong client service; strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
*Able to maintain professional demeanor
*Clean and valid driving license

Hours of Work
40hrs a week

The Package
Paying £25-35k depending on experience
Company credit card for travel to customer sites
20days holiday plus bank holidays
1 day for each year of service
1 day for your birthday
1 day for your work anniversary
They have a service addict award each month which has bonuses including vouchers, parking spaces, meal deals etc
