Experienced project manager required to work in Leeds, for an expanding and award winning client company who operate in the communications / AV / networking sector.

This role is going to play an integral part in the expansion of an existing office, and as such you should be a project manager who is happy playing an all round part through the project delivery cycle, along with getting involved with technical pre and post sales.

The ideal background would be to come from the communications (Telco or Data), Audio - Visual or perhaps networking focused IT as the main projects will be the delivery of AV systems into the educational, corporate and public sector companies.

Project methodology used in the company is a variation of Prince 2, so it would be an advantage that you have a working knowledge of Prince 2 principles.

Client companies will mainly be based around the Midlands and the North (Including Scotland) so it is assumed you have a flexible attitude to site meetings, although this role is permanently based in Leeds.

Aims:

1. To ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the clients.
2. Production of project documentation, such as method statements, risk assessments, project plans, system schematics, handover documents, action plans, progress reports and project review summaries.
3. Liaison with Matrix Account Managers, Clients, Third party suppliers and Contractors
4. Coordination of project personnel and subcontractors for the duration of the projects
5. Pre-sales technical support including site surveys and client visits
6. Post-sales technical support
7. Weekly Project Financial reporting to the Commercial Director.
