Based in Liverpool

The Role
The Field Services Manager (Mobile Telecoms) will be expected to provide our client with an effective and controlled Field Services team capable of all field based activities as directed by the Operations Manager. The role is permanent, managing 16 riggers, 2 engineers and 2 administrators.

Objectives
The Field Services Manager (Mobile Telecoms) will be expected;

*To successfully plan, control and implement field activities in accordance with the business objectives and maintain profitability, quality and customer satisfaction.
*To provide management and accountability of the Quality, Heath and Safety and Engineering resources.
*Management of the Warehouse activity.
*Accountable for the field engineering resource.
*Manage the day to day activities of the services team.
*Be the point of contact for all field staff.
*Liaise with Operations Manager to allocate engineering resource to the projects.
*Assist the project team in the management of the sub contractors on a daily basis to ensure safe working practices in accordance with current legislation.
*Manage junior members of the services team and provide mentoring to improve project deliverables.
*Maintain the accurate forecasting of Field activities, maximising productivity at all times.
*React to and solve any site issues, ensuring that all jobs are completed on time and to the highest standard.
*Assist the Project PM and act as resilience as needed.
*Authorise and document timesheets, in order to provide the Finance and Operations managers with a weekly summary of hours worked and verified completion bonuses.
*Identify potential opportunities for the sales team from existing customers and liaise with sales.
*Build relationships with key technical persons within the client base to achieve additional work packages when available.
*Ensure all supervised personnel are working in compliance to H & S Policy.
*Supervise and document LOLER and PUWER inspections
*Ensure all field staff have the correct PPE and Equipment at all times and that the correct certification is carried without exception.
*Take care of their own safety and that of others
*Ensure that products, plant, equipment, vehicles and buildings are not damaged.
*Will not neglect, misuse, damage anything provided in the interest of health and safety
*Ensure Sub contractors are qualified and have the appropriate documentation for the project.
*Ensure all operations are supported by a defined procedural practice that will be able to demonstrate compliance to the objective of Quality Policy.
*Implement new procedures and technical bulletins to ensure installers and engineers are fully compliant at all times.
*Monitor KPI and SLA data from the QA dept
*Provide supervision and management of the warehouse and logistics.
*Ensure adequate resource at all times to cover warehouse activities.
*To establish and maintain SLA's for all field activity
*Ensure all CofC's and HOPs are completed and submitted within the required SLA
*Ensure minimum OPEX expenditure at all times to increase profitability.


The Candidate
The ideal Field Services Manager (Mobile Telecoms) will have;
*Extensive experience around the process related to installation, commissioning and integration of PDH and SDH microwave systems
*MS Office including MS Project
*Excellent Communication skills
*Commercially and financially aware
*Customer focus
*A working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. Including WAH regulations
*Ability to negotiate with sub contractors
*Goal orientated


The Package
Salary package up to £50k, plus £5k car allowance working Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
