Paying £30k
Based in Liverpool

The Role
The role of Junior Project Manager- Telecoms is to support the Project Manager on the Vodafone Project. You will provide our client with successful project implementation across specific Internal and External projects. You will successfully plan, control and implement projects in accordance with the business objectives and maintain profitability, quality and customer satisfaction with both Internal and External Customers.

Duties
The Junior Project Manager- Telecoms will cover;

Projects
Supporting the Projects Manager to define the project scope and plan.
Produce project documentation pre and post implementation.
Liaise with Projects Manager/Field Services Manager to allocate engineering resource.
Manage the sub contractors on a daily basis to ensure safe working practices in accordance with current legislation.
Assist the Project Manager in budgetary control on Approved projects.
Manage any change requests or additions to the scope of works as set out in the contract.
Primary point of contact with the customer's implementation team.
Ensure customer handover documentation is provided within SLA and ATi's are received from the customer in accordance within the timescales as defined in the contract.
Obtain customer approval for additional cost requests including documentation, recording and the creation of purchase requisitions.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and delivered within budget.
Monitor and maintain SLA's/KPi's as defined by the customer.

Health & Safety
Ensure all supervised personnel are working in compliance to H & S Policy.
Take care of their own safety and that of others
Ensure that products, plant, equipment, vehicles and buildings are not damaged.
Will not neglect, misuse, damage anything provided in the interest of health and safety

Quality
Ensure all operations are supported by a defined procedural practice that will be able to demonstrate compliance to the objective of Quality Policy.

The Candidate
The ideal The Junior Project Manager- Telecoms will have;

* come from a telecoms background or had experience in telecoms
*MS Office including advanced MS Excel & Access.
*SAP (desirable)
*PRINCE 2 or PMP (desirable)
*Excellent Communication skills
*Commercially and financially aware
*Written and oral English qualifications
*Customer focus
*Time management & Prioritisation Skills
*Demonstrates Leadership qualities
*Good interpersonal skills
*Ability to manage and lead teams in difficult and high pressure situations
*Adaptability to new environments and challenges at short notice
*Experienced in managing meetings with customers and contractors
*Good level of written and oral English
*Pragmatic and determined and prepared to learn new skills.
*Ability to negotiate with sub contractors
*Goal orientated

Monday to Friday
8.30 am to 5.30 pm (one hour for lunch)
