The Opportunity
An award winning and rapidly growing Telecommunications company are looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their NOC on an initial 3 month contract. This role will involve working in a busy NOC logging calls on their Salesforce CRM system therefore previous experience of this is essential.

Please note this is a contract role to interview and start immediately therefore please do not apply if you are in a permanent role and have a notice period.

The Role
This role will involve taking calls, managing case queues for faults, information requests and data centre access. The role will suit someone with at least 1 years experience in a similar role answering calls working with Salesforce CRM system and any experience in Telecommunications or IT is beneficial.

As a 1st Line Support Engineer you will be involved in the following duties:
*Monitoring and troubleshooting network faults, escalating to 2nd line when needed
*Managing cases such as changes, faults or requests
*Ensuring that open tickets are kept minimal
*Using Salesforce to manage case queues
*Assign any faults to carriers and suppliers, following these up to ensure they're acted on as soon as possible
*Ensuring that best level of practice is being adhered to both in support and monitoring

The Requirements
As a 1st Line Support Engineer you will have at least 1 years experience in a similar role answering calls working with Salesforce and any experience in a Telecommunications or IT background is beneficial. You will be a strong communicator, good at building relationships and be passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
