The Role
As a 1st/2nd Line Voice Support Engineer working for one of the UK`s fastest growing technology solutions companies. The company is again listed on the Sunday Times Tech Track 100: it's fast growing and fast paced.

You will be responsible for providing technical support to voice and data services. You will have previous experience of supporting these services in an ISP, MSP or Telecoms environment and will ideally have working knowledge of Broadsoft, Mitel (or any other voice platform) as well as basic network troubleshooting.

This role has been created due to the further expansion of the company and is offering the suitable candidate the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and progress through the business.

The role will involve:
* Voice troubleshooting; soft switch technologies, SIP, voice quality analysis, solving complex voice issues
* Voice configuration; extension updates, call routing, hunt group configurations, voice recording
* Basic network troubleshooting; involving VLAN's, switches, bandwidth analysers
* Basic administration on Extreme Networks switches, Cisco, Juniper, Allot, Mitel, Broadsoft
* Dealing with 3rd party suppliers, owning and managing technical escalations
* Enjoys speaking to customers and building strong client relationships
* Good communicator with the ability to clearly understand customer requirements
* Highly organised
* "Going the extra mile" to deliver timely fixes or updates for customers
* A quick learner and be keen to learn new technologies.
* Troubleshooting, owning, resolving cases and keeping the client informed

The Requirements:
As a 1st/2nd Line Voice Support Engineer you will have a minimum of 2 year's experience working in a similar office based support role dealing with external customers. Previous experience in an ISP, MSP or Telecoms environment is advantageous although not essential.

You will have outstanding communication skills and will have the ability to own and manage a number of technical escalations. You will be highly organised with excellent organisational skills and must also be able to demonstrate outstanding case management and customer support excellence. You will be ambitious, driven and enthusiastic and will be looking for an opportunity which is multifaceted and dynamic.

Any experience with Microsoft products is also highly beneficial.
Candidates with strong networking experience with only some voice exposure will also be considered for this role as long as the applicant shows a strong desire to learn.
