Are you an apprentice or graduate looking for a role you can learn and develop in? Would you like to work for a leading managed service provider supporting clients across London?

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Based in the City, you'll be working in a growing team of Desktop Engineers and will be involved in 1st/2nd line support remotely then progressing onto client site support.

With a turnover of nearly £30 million and plans to grow from 170 staff to 500 in the next 4 years this is a great opportunity for you to learn and build on your career in IT. You'll enjoy talking to customers, have a passion to learn and work with a number of different clients, predominantly within the financial sector.

Established for over 20 years and a well-known leader in providing managed services to companies across the UK and EU, they are continuing to grow and are looking for a Junior Desktop Engineer to be part of that.

What will you be doing?
On a day to day basis, you'll be involved in 1st/2nd line support starting off remotely then working towards supporting customer's onsite. You'll be a core member of the Desktop Engineer team and will be working with Windows 7/Windows 10, MS Office, Server 2008/2012, Active Directory and Blackberry/Apple products.

The company provide a number of services and also work with VMWare, Citrix, Cisco, Juniper and Telephony products so is scope to learn these as well.

The Candidate
As a Junior Desktop Engineer you will have at least 12 months commercial experience in a similar role. This role may suit an apprentice or graduate with a keenness to learn and develop, get stuck in and really challenge the Desktop support team. Any certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft MCSA, MCSE or ITIL are desirable.

Please note the shifts for this role are 7.30am - 4pm or 10am - 6.30pm
