Role: Junior Field Support Engineer (Office 365)
Package: £24,000 - £28,000 + Benefits including 25 days holiday, pension, subsidised travel, BUPA healthcare, dental care, iPhone, Gym and more.

The Role
As a Junior Field Support Engineer working for a leading IT and Telecoms solutions company you will be responsible for providing 1st/2nd line desktop support to one of their main clients with multiple high end business premises / customer across Central London.

You will have solid desktop experience including Office 365 and Active Directory and a good understanding of networking. In addition, you will be confident and enthusiastic and able to provide a great customer experience when dealing with technical problems on site.

This role has been created due to expansion and the company are offering the suitable candidate a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in a Sunday Times Tech Track 100 technology company.

We feel this role would ideally suit a candidate that has at least 2 years experience in a support/helpdesk role, brilliant customer skills and is keen to learn new technologies including Server 2012 R2 (In an ideal world, you`ll already have some commercial exposure to MS Server but we are happy to build on this)

As a Junior Field Support Engineer you will be responsible for:
*Logging tickets, talking to customers and building rapport with them.
*Providing general 1st / 2nd line desktop support.
*Supporting the internal infrastructure of the company by spending a small part of the week back at the office.
*Working with one of their main prestigious clients at multiple locations across the City of London.
*Troubleshooting, owning, resolving cases and keeping the client informed.
*"Going the extra mile" to deliver timely fixes or updates for customers.

Technical Requirements

It is essential you have the following technical requirements:

*Troubleshooting of Office 365/ MS Office 2013
*Management and administration of Active Directory
*Hands on experience with Windows 7,8 and 8.1
*Networking knowledge including protocols such as TCP/IP
*Previous support desk/helpdesk experience
*Dealing with 3rd party suppliers, owning and managing technical escalations
* Microsoft Windows Server

Any experience in VoIP (Mitel/Broadsoft), ITIL, Mac or certifications in Microsoft (MCSE, MCITP) or networking (CCNA) are highly advantageous.

Non-technical Requirements

It is essential you have the following:

*Excellent communicator with the ability to understand customer requirements and deal with non-technical users.
*A quick learner and keen to learn new technologies.
*Enjoy working with customers and building strong client relationships.
*Presentable, this role is customer facing therefore you must be professional and have great customer skills along with the right attitude
