The Role
As a Software Support Analyst working for one of the UK's fastest growing technology businesses, you will be responsible for working in the support team, acting as an internal and customer interface to bridge the gap between senior developers and support engineer teams. This role is very varied and you'll be dealing with both customer issues and existing bugs in order to provide long term fixes.

This is a support role, not software development but it is assumed you have a technical knowledge of MySQL alongside exposure to object orientated programming (ideally Java) and any exposure to Web services, LAMP and Unix based systems is highly advantageous.

This role would ideally suit a candidate that is graduate calibre from a relevant IT/technical related degree or equivalent with an interest in software development. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a Sunday Times listed Tech Track 100 technology company and there will be plenty of opportunities to learn and gain exposure to different types of work.

As a Software Support Analyst you will be involved in the following duties:

*Tackling and solving problems with the software system
*Acting as the interface between support engineers and senior developers to prioritise and resolve issues with the company's software package
*Resolving any customer issues caused by software failing, this will be working alongside the support engineers
*Root cause analysis on bugs, advising the senior developers
*Involved in new feature requests, problem solving these and advising how to approach around development

The Requirements
*Degree educated or equivalent within IT/technical
*A good, working knowledge of MySQL
*Object orientated programing experience, ideally in Java
*Strong communication skills
*A fast learner
*Team player
*Any exposure to web services, LAMP or Unix based systems is highly beneficial
