The Role
Are you interested in software development? Have you got a good understanding of SQL? Do you want to work for a Tech Track 100 company?

If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Software Support Analyst working for one of the UK's fastest growing technology businesses. You will be responsible for working in the support team, acting as an internal and customer interface to bridge the gap between senior developers and support engineer teams. This role is very varied and you'll be dealing with both customer issues and existing bugs in order to provide long term fixes.

This is a support role, not software development but it is assumed you have a technical knowledge of MySQL alongside exposure to object orientated programming and a coding language like Ruby.

You'll be working in their quirky offices in London which include a pool table, bar and massage chairs. You'll be passionate about learning new technologies and looking for a role where you can progress and build your career.

As a Software Support Analyst you will be involved in the following duties:
*Tackling and solving problems with the software
*Acting as the interface between support engineers and senior developers to prioritise and resolve issues with the software
*Working through and closing tickets that come in on the issues platform, working alongside senior team members to do so
*Root cause analysis on issues, giving feedback to the teams
*Create and maintain code documentation

Who are you?

You will ideally have a relevant IT/technical related degree or equivalent with an interest in software development. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a Sunday Times listed Tech Track 100 technology company and there will be plenty of opportunities to learn and gain exposure to different types of work. You'll be a problem solver, have good understanding of MySQL, object orientated programming experience and ideally exposure to Linux systems.

Working environment

Good location in West Central, the company offices are pretty cool. It's open plan, they've got a bar and pool table along with chill out rooms with massage chairs, and those sparkly lights in the roof that look like stars at night.
Mac or PC, you can have whatever works for you. Same goes for Linux.
