£30,000 - £34,000 + On call allowance + Excellent Benefits including annual bonus, 24 days holiday (including birthday) + bank holidays, pension, healthcare, training/development + other perks such as breakfast every morning

The Role
As a Network Engineer working a growing Telecommunications company you will be working in a team of Engineers and will be responsible for building and configuring equipment. The network is mainly Juniper based therefore experience with this is ideal however candidates with strong Cisco experience and a CCNA certification will be considered. This role may be suitable for a Support Engineer looking to make a move into a more specialised role. You will have previous experience working in an ISP/MSP/Telecommunications company and will be involved in the following duties:

*Configuration of customers equipment onto the core network
*Network maintenance
*Fault diagnoses of leased lines
*Managing and roll out of customer MPLS solutions
*Capacity planning and change management
*After a few months you will be involved in the 24x7 on call rota (1 in every 4 weeks)

The Requirements
As a Network Engineer you will have previous experience in an ISP/MSP/Telecommunications company ideally working with Juniper however Cisco engineers will be considered as long as you have a CCNA as a minimum. You will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and any exposure to MPLS (layer 2 and 3), OSPF and BGP is desirable. You will have strong working knowledge of the Telecommunications environment and any experience of 2nd line engineering or design is also highly advantageous.
Certifications in Juniper such as JNCIS, JNCIP are highly desirable. You will be a strong communicator and will be looking for an opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in a growing company.
