The Role
As a Network Engineer working for a growing Telecommunications company you will be responsible for building customer solutions, configuration and 2nd/3rd line technical support. You will also be responsible for delivering solutions and support to customers. You will be working closely with other teams, ensuring the project technically delivered to specification. You will act as the main technical point of contact when delivering customer solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to become a Senior Network Engineer working in a team managing the network. This role would suit someone in a 2nd line support or technical provisioning role from an ISP/Telecoms company looking for a step up. Working in a highly skilled team you will be responsible for:

*Technical build of leased lines, other Ethernet deployments, data centre services & WAN Solutions for customers
*2nd/3rd level technical support on Ethernet, Broadband and Cloud Services such as VoIP
*Service fault investigations including hardware troubleshooting
*Liaison with suppliers relating to faults
*Providing quality customer service and advice to customers
*Working on a daily basis with Project Managers and project stakeholders

As a Network Engineer you will have:
*Strong working knowledge of Ethernet networking
*A minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or in 2nd line technical support ideally from an ISP/Telecoms environment
*Cisco or Juniper networking qualifications such as CCNA or JNCIA
*Experience with Cisco or Juniper routers and switches
*Understanding of Ethernet, MPLS/VPLS, TCP/IP & VPN
*Familiar with network tools such as Nagios, Solar Winds, Cacti, Weather map
*You should be educated to degree level or have the appropriate experience

Any experience with the following is highly desirable:
*FortiNet
*Linux/Unix
*Microsoft Windows & LAN
*Experience in virtualisation
