The Role
As a Network Engineer working for a growing Telecommunications company you will be responsible for technical provisioning of customer services and 2nd line support. The role will be split roughly 80% implementation and 20% 2nd line support. You will have a background in networking and ideally be from an ISP/MSP/Telecoms environment.

This is a hands-on role and will suit candidates with previous experience in a similar role looking for an opportunity to work across the full company portfolio of services and gain experience across many technologies. The company work with Cisco on the customer side and Juniper for the ISP side.

The role would suit someone that's worked in a similar customer build role before or possibly someone looking to progress out of the NOC.

Working in a highly skilled team you will be responsible for:

*Core network build; building technical customer solutions around Ethernet, MPLS, voice, data and security
*2nd line customer support
*Change requests for customers
*Providing quality customer service and advice to customers
*Part of a 24/7 on call rota after a few months

As a Network Engineer you will have the following experience:
*3 years in a similar role
*A Telecommunications background, ideally from an ISP/MSP/Telco
*Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting experience
*Certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA or equivalent experience
*An awareness of MPLS, OSPF and BGP is a bonus

Any experience of the following is highly advantageous:
*Carrier Ethernet
*Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet or Mikrotik equipment
*Data centre
*Linux
