Job Scope
The Quality Manager- Mobile Telecoms will have overarching responsibility for project quality, technical requirements, test equipment and training. It is responsible the performance and professional development of the UK technical team. It will be the principle client interface between the technical team and customers. It is an integral part of the success of the project delivery.
The Role
The Quality Manager- Mobile Telecoms will be responsible for the following
*Ensuring projects SLA's & KPI's are met for quality and Right First Time.
*The management of the Technical Department
*The management of the technical equipment
*The communication of Technical Updates to all key stakeholders
*Provides technical direction to business through the delivery of Technical Support and Management Structures
*Establishes and implements technical processes in accordance with agreed Quality Standards
*Applies significant knowledge to deliver best practice technical solutions for customers
*Consistently delivers high-quality services to our customers
*Creates and executes training and development plans to develop technical resources and revises as appropriate to meet changing operational and strategic needs and requirements
*Acts a primary interface between technical team and project managers to deliver optimum efficiencies
*Effectively manages technical resources within budget and project schedules
*Ensures that technical Dept. is performance managed to deliver consistently high performance standards
*Provide regular quality and technical reports to the Technical Manager, client & project team
The Candidate
The Quality Manager- Mobile Telecoms will have;
*Relevant Third Level Degree Qualification with Post-Graduate Qualification in a technical or management discipline a distinct advantage
*Experience in a similar role
*Significant knowledge of current technical solutions and vendor products across the target markets
*Experience in a telecoms/project management/utilities environment desirable
*Experience in delivering efficiencies through process/delivery improvement
*Proven communication ability in delivering and engaging with team and clients
*Strong Leadership experience in a technical role essential
