Senior Support Engineer
£34,000 - £36,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits including pension, healthcare and more

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global company specialising in distributing telecoms support software. The company are growing their support function in Marlow and for the right candidate there will be opportunity to grow their career in the business.

The Role
As a Senior Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to customers across EMEA. You will also be working on ad hoc projects for customers which can be onsite upgrades or implementations. You will be working across a broad range of technologies as this is dependent on what infrastructure the customer has therefore experience in both Networking and Windows are key. As a Senior Support Engineer you will be responsible for:

*Troubleshooting customers problems at an advanced level in desktop and network support
*Supporting a broad range of technologies such as Windows 7/8/8.1, Server 2008R2/2012 and virtualisation such as VMware
*Troubleshooting any networking issues customers may be having with the software
*Providing vendor level support to a broad range of customer such as Service Desk Managers, Security professionals
*Supporting a cross platform product - Windows, Linux, Mac

The Requirements
As a Senior Support Engineer you will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role providing support to desktop, networks and ideally mobile. You will be well-rounded technically with a broad skillset and the ability to troubleshoot issues at an advanced level. You will ideally be educated to degree level and any certifications in networking such as CCNA or CompTIA are highly advantageous. It is essential you have good working knowledge of networking including protocols around IP, TCP/IP etc. Experience in a variety of Windows Operating systems is required. Any experience of providing support to software solutions is highly desirable. You will be an excellent communicator, professional and have the ability to prioritise.
