Job Summary

Position: Regional Contract / Operations Manager (NRSWA) Location: South West Regional Basis so flexible on location - Southampton, Guildford, Reading, Oxford, Bristol. Package: £50-55k plus car allowance (£6,500) pension, health, fuel card. The role: Leading a region of around 150 field engineers (Through a tier of area and local managers), you will responsible for driving performance against agreed conditions, through inspirational leadership, delegation and implementation of best practice and process. These engineers will be providing contract partner installation services within a telecoms / utilities / civils streetworks environment and will be targeted on a multiple appointment, KPI driven basis.


Job Description

Position: Regional Contract / Operations Manager (NRSWA)
Location: South West Regional Basis so flexible on location - Southampton, Guildford, Reading, Oxford, Bristol.
Package: £50-55k plus car allowance (£6,500) pension, health, fuel card.

The role:
Leading a region of around 150 field engineers (Through a tier of area and local managers), you will responsible for driving performance against agreed conditions, through inspirational leadership, delegation and implementation of best practice and process.

These engineers will be providing contract partner installation services within a telecoms / utilities / civils streetworks environment and will be targeted on a multiple appointment, KPI driven basis.

Objectives:

* Provide leadership, support & development to all team members within your region. Ensure all team members within your region have monthly 121s. Ensuring all performance data is visible & updated as new KPI & Net Promoter Score (NPS)
* Lead by example driving a field support ethos where our management teams are field based supporting our people to meet our client's needs
* Responsible for developing/building relationships with client and other parties during the course of the contract period.
* Ensure compliance at workforce level with the Health & Safety Management System, Contract Specification, and Codes of Practice.
* Ensure full compliance with NRSWA Regulations. Focus on improving performance in Health, Safety & Environment
* Maintain an up to date understanding of technical, contractual, commercial and financial requirements of the Contract.
* Operate in a manner that ensures you assist the team in hitting its targets within the parameters of the agreed service level agreement and KPIs, with focus on the Customer, resource/workload requirements and the resolution of escalated complaints in a timely manner.
* Provide weekly performance updates to your manager. Monthly provide a PowerPoint report on successes, challenges & opportunities to peer group and regional team.

Essential Skills:

* Operationally and commercially aware with proven regional or national management experience in a similar role within the contracting or client Telecommunications market (Or possibly utilities / construction / civils)
* Strong analytical and technical skills are essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to manage upwards and present business cases to justify mission critical or contract critical expenditure.
* Proven ability to build strong relationships and exceed client expectations
* Strong customer service focus
* Ability to motivate, manage, develop and grow a successful team
* Ability to manage conflict
* Able to drive / has a valid UK driving licence
