We are looking for operations mangers who may have come from a project or service delivery background and who have an understanding of web based technologies such HTML and SQL. We are looking for candidates who are excellent relationship builders, with really strong communications skills. This is not a job for an out and out developer by any means, more of an all-rounder with technical acumen and really strong attention to detail.

The role

This position has become available due to the previous operations manager moving into a global position due to the growth and expansion of the organisation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Operations Director and will be responsible for customer communications, both to new and existing clients. This may take the form, system demonstrations, system training sessions (both face-to-face and virtual) and may progress onto sales presentations.

The role also includes first-line support and administration/configuration of our software systems for clients. Successful candidates will be directly responsible to the system admin & support team. We see this role as a mixture of project management, service delivery, sales presentations, and a strong understanding of I.T. support ideally with some exposure to HTML and/or SQL.
As well as liaising with customers directly by email and telephone, the role will also include creation and maintenance of other end-user communications, including system user guides, training and best practice videos and authoring online training courses to be delivered through our own E-Learning on line learning management system.

In addition, the successful candidate will be trained to be highly competent in the use of our software systems, to be able to provide support and training to end users, as well as assisting in the testing and deployment of system patches and feature updates.

The Candidate

We are looking for operations mangers who may have come from a project or service delivery background and who have an understanding of web based technologies such HTML and SQL. We are looking for candidates who are excellent relationship builders, with really strong communications skills, this is not a job for an out and out developer by any means.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the motor trade, preferably in a motor sales or motor finance related role. They will have a strong grasp of the English language, able to transfer ideas into words and 'get the message across'. They will have a high level of IT literacy alongside along with a creative flair in order reflect the strong corporate identity which our client has come to represent and which its customers have come to recognise.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

*Have a strong motor sales or motor finance background
*Have an excellent grasp of the English language
*Have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner
*Have a high attention to detail
*Be able to organise and prioritise workload and to cope with frequent task changes
*Have a high level of IT literacy
*Have an excellent working knowledge of desktop office applications (in particular Microsoft Word & Excel)
*Be familiar with internet and email use
*Have an ability and desire to learn new skills and processes
*Have a positive attitude and a flexible approach to work

Our Client are a provider of leading edge web-based software applications specialising in the finance and insurance sector of the Motor Trade. They currently provide various software systems to motor dealerships, motor manufacturers and motor finance companies throughout the UK. Due to a rapidly increasing client portfolio they are now offering this exciting new position within their fast growing company. The previous operations manager has now stepped up into a global operational position as the company is continuing to grow at a rapid rate due to the need for the advanced software they provide.
