Paying £50'000 - £65'000 + Car Allowance, Pension
Based in either the Solihull or Basingstoke office although a presence in our Glasgow office would also be mandatory.

The Role
The Senior Programme Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of design and build across the Company's distributed antenna system (DAS) and Small Cells projects including management of third party installation and commissioning teams. The Senior Programme Manager will be involved in the shaping, planning, development, management and delivery of key business streams. This will be a fast-paced, challenging and constantly evolving role with responsibility for managing single or multi-vendor external project teams to achieve success and a high level of customer satisfaction. The scope of this position will cover complex projects and will include initiating, development and implementation of project plans, deliverables, and overall implementation. Other responsibilities will include managing equipment procurement, material tracking, and financial project management.

Responsibilities
The Senior Programme Manager specifics detailed as follows:

Indoor Distributed Networks
* "Cradle to grave" ownership of build projects for inbuilding DAS new builds and upgrades to existing systems
*Create and maintain a schedule of key milestones and a detailed Project Plan for designated projects
*Management of third party, multi-discipline design, build and integration teams.
*Ability to perform detailed analysis and review of technical build elements in design packages.
*Remove any roadblocks that may prevent on time completion.
*Ensure overall progression of projects in a timely manner and in accordance at all times with processes and timescales agreed with venue owners and customers.
*Demonstrate ownership, accountability and proactive project management, through disciplined and effective planning, documentation, tracking, measurement, assessment, and communication.
*Manage project resources and use key milestones to ensure control of project schedule and cost.
*Identify project risks and issues and take immediate action to communicate and resolve or escalate, and identify viable solutions for venue owner, customer and internal consideration.
*Document, track, assess and communicate project cost and financials to ensure targets are achieved.
*Manage all aspects of project to stay within project scope and budget.
*Ensure all deliverables are received and accepted by the customer.
*Fully understand all aspects of ONS role and support for each area of the project.
*Create or obtain, maintain and provide documentation and document control as required.
*Facilitate, lead, and/or participate in delivery and build status meetings.
*Effectively and proactively communicate and report project status and issues.
*Manage material procurement process and ensure timely deliveries in support of project timelines.
*Procure and manage third party involvement in projects.
*Assist on business development activities in line with company objectives e.g. for Small Cell development.
*Input into bid creation and strategy development for new opportunities including the creation of Board approval papers for project CAPEX spend.
*Liaise with and support other members of the ONS team including the compilation and submission of weekly/monthly reporting.


The Candidate
The ideal Senior Programme Manager will have;

*Program / Project Management experience involving wireless technologies, preferably DAS and/or small cells
*Basic technical understanding of DAS network components and system architecture.
*Working knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE and other wireless technologies
*Ability to produce/use, project-related tools, documents and documentation standards required of a Program Manager (Project Plans, scheduling, reporting)
*Ability to read and interpret build drawings
*Knowledge of relevant build, construction, electrical and health & safety standards
*Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software and Microsoft Project or equivalent
*Valid driver's license
*Project management experience preferably in the wireless industry - PMP certification, PRINCE 2 or equivalent would be beneficial
*Track record of managing multi-discipline projects and delivery against challenging timescales
*Ability to investigate and solve complex problems and implement related work improvements with cross functional team members
*Commercially aware with a passion for entrepreneurial business growth.
*Proven ability to effectively meet customer's needs, build productive internal and external stakeholder relationships and take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
*Process and task driven but willing to get into the trenches and 'own' all aspects of projects.
*Strong leadership skills and good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
*Ability to carry business on programme and build issues - shine the light for our team on infrastructure build and management - place us at the forefront of solution delivery
*Thought leadership on traditional and new infrastructure and deployment techniques
*Comfortable making case and being challenged by fellow team members
*Willingness to challenge team members in return

The Company
The Senior Programme Manager will work for a leading wireless telecommunications infrastructure service provider.

The Package
Salary is yet to be set based on the candidates experience but it would be in the region of £50'000 - £65'000 + Car Allowance, Pension - 3% employee contribution 9 % employer contribution, private healthcare and the opportunity to participate in a discretionary Annual staff bonus.
