About the Role

Within this role you would use your technical knowledge and customer service skills to provide 2nd line technical support, keep customers informed of their call request status and escalate problems to the IT Support Manager.

You will be an integral part of a global logistics network, your support will ensure shops remain in stock, customers know were there goods are and warehouses work efficiently.

As an expanding and innovative company, their IT systems are playing an integral role in their success. You will have the opportunity to be involved with the development side of things, such as bug fixing.

Other duties include;

*Receive and record details of customer problems, prioritising and then resolving them
*Liaise with other IT teams, where appropriate, in order to resolve customer requests
*Assist with the provision or removal of IT services e.g. printers
*Troubleshooting faulty equipment, provide help, set up and maintenance with equipment for the business
*With a mindfulness for quality deliverables, align with IT and facilities resources to execute on requests in a timely fashion
*Document and maintain relevant procedures and configuration information
*Maintain currency, expertise and competency of relevant One World products, policies, and methods for support delivery


About You

You will be a friendly, approachable problem solver. You will like helping people and get the most satisfaction when you can see things through. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to take ownership of a problem and ensure its resolution and an ability to troubleshoot and remain calm under pressure.

As well as the opportunity to make a difference by ensuring the free flow of international trade, the role is paying between £22k - £25k depending on experience. There is a bonus scheme and you will have regular salary reviews.
