Job Summary

Overview:
Working under a lead project manager, you will be responsible for executing delivery for all works on an I&C project across the UK. You`ll be responsible for driving the performance of a team of project engineers, so people management skills and leadership would be high on the list of priorities.

You will ensure operational continuity and smooth execution by implementing proactive delivery management practices. This is a long term requirement and prior experience of working for or alongside one of the major vendors in the UK (Huawei, Ericsson or NSN) on UK based mobile projects would be an advantage.

It is essential for this role that you have prior operations management / delivery experience within UK based network roll out and field operations delivery, along with assumed people management skills.

Responsibilities

* Lead a team of project engineers and co ordinators to drive performance against delivery targets.
* Ascertain and fulfill Client requirements and expectations within allocated Project.
* Take responsibility for regular Client Liaison and reporting within allocated Project.
* Scheduling, forecasting and progress tracking.
* Run and liaise with Technical Services' field teams.
* Controlling and optimising KPI's
* Ensure accurate database management.
* Feedback / communication to the Team and ensuring the 'Go No Go' meetings are attended and any issues raised are dealt with.
* Take responsibility for ensuring that EH&S standards are maintained across the Project.
* Ensure operational delivery performance objectives are achieved.
* Provide supervision, coaching and development of the Staff of the Department.


Essential skills:
* Recent, in depth delivery experience, ideally within the UK or Ireland mobile industry but we will consider UK based telecoms multi site, roll out projects.
* Extensive management experience linked to service delivery (Within the telecoms industry)
* Strong track record within operations management with the ability to drive performance and ensure day to day roll out targets and objectives are achieved.
