Overview:
Working under the operations director, you will be responsible for executing project delivery for all works on the Huawei business stream for Project Beacon. Moving forward, you will also take the lead for day to day operational management across a number of different vendor and operator mobile network projects, including all aspects of project delivery and support.

You will ensure operational continuity and smooth execution by implementing proactive delivery management practices. This is a long term requirement and it is essential for this role that you have prior senior management experience within a UK based network roll out and delivery environment, along with assumed people management skills, including the ability to manage more junior delivery leaders.

Responsibilities

* Lead a team of project engineers, delivery leads and project coordinators to drive performance against delivery targets.
* Ascertain and fulfil Client requirements and expectations within allocated Project.
* Take responsibility for regular Client Liaison and reporting within allocated Project or business stream
* Scheduling, forecasting and progress tracking.
* Run and liaise with Technical Services' field teams.
* Controlling and optimising KPI's
* Ensure accurate database management.
* Feedback / communication to the Team and ensuring the 'Go No Go' meetings are attended and any issues raised are dealt with.
* Take responsibility for ensuring that EH&S standards are maintained across the Project.
* With Technical Services Manager support, begin to implement and enforce company procedure in respect of QA to maintain the Company's ISO 9001 registration
* Ensure delivery performance objectives are achieved.
* Assist in the Supervision, Coaching and development of the Staff of the Department.
* Line management responsibility for the project team.

Essential skills:
* Recent, in depth project delivery / operations management experience, ideally within the UK or Ireland mobile industry.
* Extensive management experience linked to service delivery (Within the telecoms industry)

This role will be based in Warrington for the first 6-8 weeks but then some flexibility on remote work will come into play to allow home working.
