The Opportunity
We are looking for a Engineering Resource Coordinator to join a global telecommunications company based in Liverpool. This opportunity could suit a project coordinator, scheduling coordinator, or someone who is used to making sure Field Engineering teams have all they need to complete their jobs on the day. This position will report into a Project Manager and you will also oversee two junior administrators who will help you with your daily tasks. The end client are known for developing their staff and this role has come about due to an internal promotion.

The role
You will use your excellent organisational skills to assist the services team with the planning and coordination of all field based activities alongside the other members of the Project Support team.

The Engineering Resource Coordinator will be responsible for:

*Supporting the field services manager.
*Arrange site access with 3rd party site providers.
*Book access permits with MBNL, EE, Orange or any other network operator as required.
*Arrange outages for site activity.
*Coordinate daily activity for engineers, installers and auditors.
*Create job packs for field staff.
*Collate and distribute H&S information for the field staff.
*Coordinate training courses.
*Collate timesheets for managers approval.
*Collate expense claims for managers approval.
*Resolve daily site issues with relevant escalations.
*Book site surveys and cherry pickers.
*Monitor consumable stock and advise manager when stock levels are low.
*Assist logistics manager with services hardware requirements.

The Candidate
The ideal Engineering Resource Coordinator will have know their way around Microsoft Excel and be happy using it on a daily basis. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal for dealing with our end customers. And we want you to be bright and ambitious! We will use these skills to develop you into a future key player in our projects team.

Hours of Work
Hours 8.30 to 5.30 with 1 hour for lunch
Monday to Friday

The Package
Paying £25k
Based in Widnes
20 days holidays + bank holidays
