The Role
The role of a Telecoms Field Services Coordinator is to provide support to the implementation of Telecoms field service activity. Day to day duties will be to assist the services team with the planning and coordination of all field based activities.

Responsibilities
As a Telecoms Field Services Coordinator you will be busy! And the environment is 100 miles per hour. You will start work circa 8.30 am and in the blink of an eye it will be 5.30 pm and time for home. Of course you will have an hours lunch to admire the country side view. You will be responsible for supporting the field services manager on the Vodafone contract.

Daily duties include

*Arranging site access with 3rd party site providers.
*Booking access permits with MBNL, EE, Orange or any other network operator as required.
*Arranging outages for site activity.
*Coordinating daily activity for engineers, installers and auditors.
*Creating job packs for field staff.
*Collating and distribute H&S information for the field staff.
*Coordinating training courses.
*Collating timesheets for managers approval.
*Collating expense claims for managers approval.
*Tracking handover documentation to meet SLA.
*Checking and upload HOPs and CofCs within SLA.
*Resolving daily site issues with relevant escalations.
*Booking site surveys and cherry pickers.
*Monitoring consumable stock and advise manager when stock levels are low.
*Raising PR's for access and supervision.
*Raising PR's for local purchases.
*Raising intercompany PO's for materials as needed.
*Assisting logistics manager with services hardware requirements.
*Ensuring field engineers have the correct H&S documentation for all site activity.
*Takeing care of their own safety and that of others
*Ensuring that products, plant, equipment, vehicles and buildings are not damaged.
*Ensuring compliance with ISO and local work procedures.

The Candidate
The is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Telecoms Project or Field Services Coordinator to continue their career development within an internationally renowned microwave transmission and wireless network solutions provider.

As the role is supporting the field services manager on their Vodafone contract, we are going to be looking for someone who has previously worked within a fast paced telecoms environment.

Telecoms operators can be notoriously hard to please, so you will be an expert in Customer Focus and have Excellent Communication skills, Good interpersonal skills, Time management & Prioritisation Skills and the Ability to manage and lead teams in difficult and high pressure situations

MS Office including MS Excel & Access skills are the lifeblood of a Telecoms Project or Field Services Coordinator , so you will be the type of person who loves working with spreadsheets, creating formulas and pivot tables!

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday
8.30 am to 5.30 pm (one hour for lunch)

The Package
Paying a starting salary at £23K
Rising to £25k after 1 year
20 days holiday + bank holidays
