The role will also require a good working knowledge of programming network switches such as Cisco and Extreme devices.

Our client is an expanding communications company, that specialise in providing managed solutions into the service office sector. They are based in the West End of London on Tottenham Court Road.

Technical Support Engineer - Mitel Voice Specialist
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional understanding and practical experience of working with Mitel telephone systems. They must be able to hit the ground running and manage the existing infrastructure as well as being able to plan new site deployments.
The role will also require a good working knowledge of programming network switches such as Cisco and Extreme devices.
It is essential you are well versed in VO/IP and more specifically, SIP. Experience of providing technical support within a call centre environment would be viewed as a distinct advantage.

Telecom skills -
Management and installation of Mitel 3300 PBXs
Contact Centre Management administration
Intelligent Call Queue
Call Recording administration
Troubleshoot voice features; hunt groups, ACD paths, call routing, IVRs
Diagnose and resolve SIP protocol messages

Network skills -
CCNA level preferred.
Ability to configure VLANs, DHCP
TCP/IP troubleshooting

Personal skills -
Proficient problem-solving skills with understanding of how to sort through complex telephony issues
Manage and progress escalations
Exceptional communication skills to all key suppliers and partners
Project manage new installations / migration sites

Package includes private healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday. Working week is Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 6:00pm.
