JOB TITLE: Sales Account Manager (Telecoms)
LOCATION: Ipswich
SALARY: £22,500-£33,700 basic salary + bonus + benefits


As a Sales Account Manager you will get the opportunity to work for a global provider of connectivity and infrastructure solutions for wireless, business enterprise and residential broadband networks. With a reputation for high quality, they are recognised as a global partner and the market leader in the supply of towers and metal cabinets and enclosures to the UK Telecommunications industry as well as provide a full range of telecoms solutions from broadband and wireless product s through to broadcast and entertainment networks.
THE ROLE

As a Sales Account Manager you will be working alongside a senior member of the team to developing and maintaining sales pipeline of company products, service and solutions with contracted customers and new business opportunities. Working towards agreed targets you will be assigned a region surrounding the Ipswich taking on a mix of both warm and cold accounts. You will be working mostly from the office although their will the occasional trip out to see customers when relevant. You will be tasked with making initial contact, following up on sales leads and qualifying sales opportunities. It will be your responsibility to keep up to date with company policies, product lines and marketing promotions. There is a clear route of progression with the company into field sales for those that showcase the right ambition and sales performance.

THE CANDIDATE

As a Sales Account Manager will be a champion of selling telecoms solutions to both new and existing clients. You will follow up on all sales leads for your region and endeavour to provide a solution to client's requirements. We would expect you to have working knowledge of a variety of telecoms products, ranging from wireless, broadband and enterprise products, indoor and outdoor networks and powered fibre cable systems. A strong background in telecoms is essential in order to succeed in this role.
