Do you have a proven sales background in building and construction? We are looking for a Technical Sales Account Manager to manage a portfolio of longstanding clients in the West Yorkshire area.

Their is a strong team culture within the sales team who are all based remotely, but still support one another helping in creating a longstanding and experienced sales team, formed with many of the companies previous competitors.


WHAT IS THE JOB DOING?

The successful Technical Sales Account Manager will be tasked with managing the whole of the West Yorkshire area , you will inherit an existing spending client base and be expected to also develop new client relationships. You will be working towards sales targets for your area and be supported in this by head office so you can effectively spend your time developing customer relationships. Products range from pneumatic tools to adhesives which you will sell to a wide range of end users, predominantly in the construction industry.

Working autonomously from home you will be expected to promote product/ services at client sites. It will be your responsibility to be aware of competitor activity, potential collaborators and ensure an understanding of the company target market.

As a core member of the team, you will be expected to work independently and embody the company's core values as you act as representation of the company. This is a really exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional. The role will involve a significant amount of travel around the West Yorkshire area so a full UK driving license is essential.
