For nearly 40 years our client has designed, crafted and installed over 3,000 of their bespoke Wine Cellars and Wine Rooms at customer sites both in the UK and globally, resulting with thousands of satisfied customers who are now passionate champions of their brand. They are dedicated to designing and installing high end specification wine rooms and cellars for some of the country's leading residential properties bespoke to the client's needs and the specifications of their interior designers, developers and architects.

They are now seeking to appoint an internal Business Development Executive to join their committed sales team based in Wimbledon.


What will you be doing?

You will undertake consultations with potential customers and their representatives including architects and developers, explaining the cellar installation process to prospective clients and consulting with them to advise on the most appropriate location and also issues such as Party Wall Agreements, Building Regulations and Listed Building Consent.
Your role will involve creating lasting business relationships with architects, designers and developers. You will also arrange project appointments and site visits, liaise with the estimating team to produce accurate estimates, and follow up on quotations to maximise conversion into orders along with managing customer enquiries to ensure accuracy of all technical specifications.
Our client's customers are typically high net worth individuals including celebrities, or they may be customers who have saved up for many years to fulfil their passion, however they all both expect and receive exceptional customer service throughout the full installation process.

This is an office based role in Wimbledon, South West London.


What background will you need to have?

You will need to have a demonstrable track record of outbound sales and customer service, ideally in relation to the luxury construction market dealing with reputable main contractors, house builders, developers, architects and designers. Additionally experience of generating leads for luxury home products i.e. high end kitchens, furniture or similar would be of interest.
You will be an effective influencer with an excellent, well-spoken telephone manner.

What are the rewards?

A starting basic salary of £27,000 pa plus commission plus bonus with a £30,000 to £35,000 OTE plus pension and a holiday allowance of 20 days plus 8 bank holidays plus an additional 6 days over Christmas. Social events encouraged!
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
