Working as a graduate recruitment consultant for the Bluefire organisation is the beginning of a journey of professional development and attainment. The role,

Working in the heart of the business district in our prestigious offices, you should expect to be constantly challenged to reach targets, bring on new business and help provide recruitment solutions for our clients.
The role of a recruitment consultant is essentially to understand the recruitment requirements of clients/businesses and then match candidates to their briefs. This is though a very small outline of what is involved to make this process happen.
As with all careers it takes years to perfect the subtle techniques and approaches needed to realise these goals but with the training and support of the Bluefire team you will have every opportunity to develop and nurture these skills. You will need to show a high level of commitment and determination as you make your way through the training period, this is not a job for someone who wishes to work a basic 9-5.
The process of the graduate recruitment consultant begins by learning the basics of the industry to ensure you have solid foundations to move forward with your career. Your role will begin first by learning the Bluefire systems and processes and forming relationships with your peers.
As your capabilities improve they will be assessed by the team which will lead to additional responsibilities and expectations. We are looking to bring in a number of graduates and so competition for progression is strong.

The Candidate

We are looking for talented individuals who have graduated from university and are now looking to build themselves a career within a high pressured atmosphere with extensive financial rewards. Candidates who have graduated with a technical or business degree are warmly encouraged to apply although we will consider candidates irrespective of their degree subject as long as they are able to demonstrate the core attitudes and characteristics we require.
We are looking for candidates who are honest and friendly and have strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, any additional languages would be viewed as a plus.
We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, creative and approachable, and ideally possess leadership qualities. We are looking for candidates who are very positive in their daily lives. Recruitment is not an environment for negative people. We are looking for competitive candidates who are able to combine their natural exuberance with a methodical approach to reach their goals.
We are looking for candidates who may have previously worked within a sales environment, although any previous work experience will be considered as long as you are able to show how you personally have made a difference.

We would be interested in meeting candidates who have currently/previously been a member of a sports team, social club, university association or political party.

Candidates will need to be well organised with a good level of I.T. literacy including Microsoft office including outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint.
