Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join a busy team at our Liverpool Head Office. Job Description

Bluefire Consulting is an award winning Recruitment and Headhunting agency operating throughout the UK. Bluefire boasts highly successful Consultants specialising in Commercial and Finance, Engineering and Technical, IT and Telecoms and Sales and Marketing.

Now approaching our fifteenth year in business and ranking in the Financial Times 100 fasting growing companies, Bluefire maintains a strong primary focus on exceptional service to all candidates and clients. Consequently, the ideal graduate will have outstanding sales or commercial experience within a relevant field, and, if possible, have previously completed a placement year or part time role.

Our busy Liverpool Head Office is now seeking a recent graduate to join the expanding team. You will complete a two stage training programme which will provide you with all the skills needed to become a successful recruitment consultant.

Entrepreneurial tenacity is a must, as Bluefire is a rapidly expanding company which expects the same level of progression from its employees. In return Bluefire will provide full training and support and a competitive starting salary of £14,000-£17,000 pa plus bonus.

The first stage of the training programme will take between 3 and 6 months, you will initially join the team as an Administrator/Receptionist. This role will give the opportunity to learn all about our recruitment processes, the company and its operations.

Your main duties will include:

* Being the first point of contact for candidates and clients
* Answering calls and directing as necessary
* Ensuring all databases are up to date
* Ensuing all employment legislation is adhered to
* Amending legal documents
* Dealing with correspondence to Clients and Candidates
* Providing administrative support such as responding to letters, emails, faxes, scanning, filing and travel bookings.
* Ensuring all relevant paperwork is on file
* Compiling daily statistics on Consultants and Resourcers activities
* Conducting credit Checks
* Assisting with payroll procedures

After completion of the first stage you will be promoted to Resourcer where you will be responsible for sourcing and matching candidates. You will be dealing with clients directly and placing candidates in roles. This stage is expected to last 6-9 months with a salary increase to approximately £25,000 pa (inclusive of bonus) in addition to a contracted iPhone and Laptop.

Your main duties will include:

* Overseeing the recruitment process from start to finish
* Writing job Specifications and adverts
* Sourcing Candidates from job boards and applications
* Matching candidates to your own vacancies and the vacancies of your Managing Consultant
* Agreeing Terms and Conditions with clients
* Arranging suitable interview times
* Preparing candidates for interview via telephone screening and face to face interviews
* Receiving and relaying interview feedback to both client and candidate
* Building and consolidating relationships with candidates and clients
* Formatting and editing CVs in preparation for sending to clients
* Contacting potential clients and promoting our services
* Accompanying Consultants on client site visits

On completion of this final stage you will progress to become a Recruitment Consultant, with benefits of up to 30 days holiday, a car allowance and earnings which can be in excess of £70,000.

Working week is Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm. Package includes 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
