Job Description

Graduate Recruitment Consultant (Often the perfect job for grads who don't know what to do with their degree).

Based in Liverpool.

Who are we?

Our company was set up in a small flat in the last millennium, but since then it has progressed to become one of the finest recruitment agencies in the North West. Jamie is the boss, as such his two most important functions are to make sure the fresh fruit is delivered to the office on Monday mornings and that the fridge is filled with beer for our Friday afternoon "sales meeting".
Jobeth is our operations manager, but more importantly is a cake making Jedi. The only time arguments flare up is when we have a heated debate over whether this week's assortment will be Lemon drizzle cakes, Victoria sponges or my personal favourite the chocolate brownies.

We have Natalie from Dundee who runs our London office, and then Neil from London who helps look after our Liverpool HQ. We have another Neil who is our technical director, he likes holidays in far flung lands (he's from Skem), fast cars and flash suits.
Stephen "the poster boy of recruitment" is one of our senior consultants, he likes to tell a story about how he joined Bluefire with holes in his shoes and now he has holes in his pockets as he jets himself and his lovely girlfriend off to New York on a quick stop city break.
Sue and Jen take a lead in everything non tech, Marg looks after the books and Bilbo is the queen of Broadway. We have others though, stars such as the Kelsenator - a phone answering email sending administration machine and who is about to embark on his next mission as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant.

We work in the heart of the Liverpool business district. When we are not working ridiculously hard, we can be found playing Xbox in our chill out room, or chewing the fat whilst drinking the cocktails in our local Exchange Flags hostelries Fazenda and The Vincent.

We work with a lot of pretty impressive clients, who think we are awesome. Our plan is to hire the brightest and freshest minds, and to conquer the world, or at least some of it.

What we are looking for!

You will be professional, have great communication skills and be well organised (you won't cope with this job otherwise). If you have a sales background that's great, if you make friends easily that's even better.

You must be a person with a really positive attitude. We hate neg heads and mood hoovers.
You will need to have watched all 10 episodes of making of a murderer, as we are fed up not talking about it, while everyone else catches up. You will enjoy a challenge and be at your best when things get difficult. We are all quite sporty and can often be found running half marathons and crawling through the mud at the latest survival of the fittest events, you don't need to be fit but you will need to be game to get involved. You will be a fun and friendly graduate who has a high level of passion and enthusiasm who wants to live a better life, funded by hard work and commitment.

Why should you apply for this position?

I thought I'd let the team tell you their stories to help you understand why you should apply.

Alex, Senior Consultant, recruitment star by day, dragon boat enthusiast by night.

"I heard good things about recruitment. I heard it was fast paced, work hard, party hard atmosphere. I wanted to have something I could throw myself into and Bluefire gave me that. I've managed to buy my house and I earn good money. What I like most though is that I talk daily with some of the biggest companies in the UK, and they listen to me for advice."

Stuart, our newest Grad Trainee and top resourcer, loves hip hop, whippets and everything
Yorkshire.

"I joined Bluefire because I wanted to buy a house as quickly as possible and felt recruitment would help me to do this. Since joining 8 months ago I've already began reaching this goal. I like what I do, it's challenging and I get to work with people I call my friends, every day."

Chris, Newly Qualified Consultant, 6ft 2 inch rugby player, great recruiter, useless drinker.

"I joined Bluefire because I liked the ambition of the company and the atmosphere you feel when you come into the office. The company has delivered on pretty much all of the promises they made to me and I'm excited by the fact I could be a manager by time I'm 27. I've earned a certain level of autonomy through my work, which has been recognised. It feels good to be trusted. What I like most though is that I earn more money than all of my friends who were attracted to the bright lights of London".

Neil, Head of Development, the Emperor of Doom.

"I finished my degree in psychology and was unsure what to do next. I wanted to earn a lot of money while also working in a fast paced atmosphere where I wouldn't get bored. I fell into recruitment from applying to an advert like this and 5 years later I can honestly say it's the best thing that has happened to me. I have a good car and a great house and a lifestyle that I never imagined I would attain ".

If you are enthusiastic, eager to learn and have a good deal of common sense, then together with Bluefire we will help you become the best you can be. If you would like to spend your time with fun, passionate and incredibly hardworking people please apply.

The Money bit.

£18K basic starting salary, regular salary reviews, plus commission plus bonus plus profit share with the potential to earn a realistic £30K in the first year increasing to £50K+ once you have completed your training. You will be provided with the essential kit to do your work (iPhone 6s, laptop, expense account). iPads, car allowances/company cars, and Rolex/Tag/Omega watches awarded to our high achievers.

Also everyone gets to take their birthday off as a free holiday and we close at Xmas for two weeks as well.To celebrate your annual anniversary the boss takes you out for a slap up feed at a restaurant of your choice.
